Every so often I come across something that raises my eyebrow. Shouts out to my homie Cross for posting this and catching my attention. This girl not only has pipes, but also has much flow. In this video, she's covering a Lil Wayne hit "6 foot 7 foot". What can I say?? I really don't listen to Lil Wayne much, not that I think his music is wack, its just not on my radar particuarly. But her twist on things puts a new look on his work. Especially since you can clearly hear what she's saying..lol..Anyways, enjoy!

JILLY FROM PHILLY....On The Uprise Again...

You can expect for some great things to come forth from the artist Jill Scott. As you may have heard she laid to rest her business relationship with Hidden Beach Records and joined forces with Warner. Interestingly enough to that is that Hidden Beach is set to release songs from the Jill Scott vault. I'm not sure if this is something she's happy about or not, but to fans, its gonna be indeed a treat. I can only imagine the work she's created overtime that hasn't seen the light of day.
Aside from that she has started her campain for her new Warner Records Release "The Light Of The Sun".I Can't wait to see how all this unveils.
