This past Saturday(October 15th),author, professor and social activist Dr.Cornel West and national recording artist Raheem DeVaughn were arrested along with 17 other demonstrators on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. while taking part in the "Occupy protests", a recent protest against corporate influence in politics.
